Churches from across 20 denominations were asked in the National Church Life Survey in 2016 and again in late 2021/early 2022 about 10 different types of action concerning Aboriginal peoples and cultures. This Fact Sheet explores the actions of local churches over time.
Results show that there has been a significant increase in recent years in church engagement with Aboriginal peoples and cultures in these lands now called Australia.
