Churches are currently signing up to participate in the 2016 National Church Life Survey, by ordering their surveys. The survey will be held in October and November. Thousands of churches are expected to participate across more than 20 denominations. Sign up today!  www.2016ncls.org.au

Young churchgoers: NCLS researchers are pleased to hear that a paper using our children's survey data will be published in the Journal of Beliefs and Values. The title is 'Assessing peer and parental influence on the religious attitudes and attendance of young churchgoers: Exploring the Australian National Church Life Survey’. We look forward to its publication.

Do Australian Protestant churches help Asian migrants to integrate into society? NCLS researchers are working with UK colleagues on this question. In short, early results show that congregations do foster social capital among Asian migrants, though not to levels found among Australians who are third generation or more. Recent SSSR/RRA Conference presentation with Prof Andrew Village from York St John University.
